Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Marieke and André Bouwkamp and share a passion for France. We love to visit the Lot et Garonne and the Dordogne with our Australian Labradoodles. The inhabitants of these areas are friendly. Here you get to experience a beautiful culture, a fantastic wine region and history. Nature here is breathtakingly beautiful! Our goal is to give our guests an unforgettable holiday and to let them enjoy our luxurious private holiday home with complete privacy to the fullest.

A long-time dream come true: in 2021 we bought the holiday home “Bois de la Borde”. On the one hand, to enjoy it ourselves, and on the other hand, to offer our guests a beautiful holiday home. We came up with a special concept for this. Because of an allergy to dogs and other pets, it was difficult for us to go on holiday with our Australian Labradoodles. It is virtually impossible to find a holiday home that only allows Australian Labradoodles, where someone with a dog allergy can spend their holiday. This is because an Australian Labradoodle can be kept by people who suffer from a dog-pet allergy. Renting a holiday home where all pets are allowed is not an option for people who suffer from a pet allergy. In that case, the only choice you are left with is to leave your loyal furry friend(s) at home. This led to the idea of renting out our holiday home to guests without pets or to guests with an Australian Labradoodle. The Australian Labradoodle is a hypoallergenic dog that does not shed. This way we can give guests without pets and guests with allergies and an Australian Labradoodle an unforgettable holiday.
